Position Overview

The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) – Wellness & Foot Care is responsible for the provision of wellness support and management of cost‑effective foot care services in Community Centers located in Lancaster, Alexandria, Finch, Ingleside and Winchester or the client’s home. Care is provided within the framework of quality & risk management and the standards and scope of practice set by Carefor and the provincial regulatory body (Ontario College of Nurses). The RPN will utilize a General and Diabetic Foot Assessment Tool which follows the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario Best Practice Guideline.

Responsibilities

• Provide wellness support and foot care services to clients in community centers and residential settings.
