**Responsibilities**

Duties include responsibility for safely and efficiently performing welds of varying degrees on all types of surface coal mining equipment. All work will be performed in compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements to keep the equipment at an acceptable availability and reliability for the mine to meet its budgeted goals in safety, cost, productivity and environmental commitments.
