Enhance your veterinary skills through NVA Canada’s final year Veterinary Technician Practicum. Work hands-on with experienced veterinarians and RVTs while gaining essential clinical experience.
This practicum offers final-year students in accredited veterinary technician programs the chance to build real-world skills in a supportive environment. Participants will develop proficiency in patient care, laboratory procedures, anesthesia, surgical assistance, and radiology. Practical programs can range from two to eight weeks, aligning with your academic schedule. Eligible students may receive stipends to cover travel expenses, allowing for a focus on learning.
