The University of Helsinki International trainee programme is open to all international students enrolled in a University of Helsinki master’s programme.

We are looking for a TRAINEE for the Democracy makers and Politicizing Environmental Emergency -projects funded by Kone Foundation (PI Eeva Luhtakallio).
 
The duration of a traineeship is from 1 September 2026 to 31 December 2026 (four months) of part-time (55%) work, leaving time for studies as well. The salary of a trainee is €852 per month for a part-time (55%) trainee. 

About the position

The trainee is expected to contribute to the work of the two projects, the first being a research infrastructure and community oriented effort taking place within , and the latter a more classical research project. The trainee will assist the PI and her team in varying tasks from assisting at events and seminars to conducting preliminary analyses of survey data, helping with writing literature review...
