WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?The Trade Officer supports with end-to-end processing of Trade Finance product i.e. Import and Export Letter of Credit and Standby Letter of Credit. The competence with which the incumbent’s duties are carried out has a major impact on operational, financial and on the reputation risks of the RBC globally and on its clients.WHAT WILL YOU DO?Responsible for end to end processing/release function such as issuing/amendment, demand checking and cancellations.
Manage internal and external client relationships from a service perspective, including direct client interactions where appropriate.
Exercise diligence in complying with operational risk policies and guidelines.
Performs checks and release on Import and Export Letter of Credit and Standby Letters of credit within delegated authorities
