The Designer will be accountable for both aesthetic and technical textile design development, specifically for mattress ticking applications in Canada.

• Designing woven and knit constructions focus on the Canadian market
• Keeping up to date with market trends, fabric, color, and design
• Collaborating with customers to fulfil design requirements, offering creative input for custom projects, and developing trend presentations for customer meetings
• Creating innovative designs for open line aligned with current market trends, and merchandise fabrics for in-house collections, while also presenting new collections to the commercial team
• Presenting 3D proposals to both internal and external stakeholders’ presentations
• Evaluating samples before shipping to customers or finalizing for in-house collections
• Addressing fabric quality issues through engineering and design as needed
