The role is for a Tax Accountant – T1/T3 who will support day‑to‑day tax operations with a focus on complex estate and trust accounts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file income tax returns for complex estate, trust, and beneficiary accounts
• Gather required information from clients, internal teams, and external sources to facilitate accurate tax filings
• Perform calculations, complete schedules, and organize data for complex returns
• Review assessment notices, prepare adjustment requests, objection notices, and Clearance Certificate applications
• Communicate with CRA to provide requested information and ensure compliance
• Maintain quality, responsiveness, and timeliness standards for tax filings
• Liaise with client’s Trust staff, outside tax professionals, and clients to meet tax obligations and implement tax strategies
