Summer Student - Camp Counsellor Term – July 2nd to August 31st, 2026

Position Overview Reporting to the Native Healing Centre Coordinator, the Summer Camp Counsellor is responsible for creating a safe, positive, and engaging camp experience for children and youth participating in PGNFC summer programming. The successful candidate will work with the Native Healing Centre staff supervising campers during daily activities, facilitating recreational and educational programming, and promoting healthy relationships in a safe environment. Camp activities may include sports, arts and crafts, cultural programming, outdoor recreation, games, field trips, and special events.

Qualifications

Must be a student returning to full-time studies in the 2026 Fall semester.

Valid Class 5 Driver's License.

Current First Aid and CPR certification.

Lifeguard certification is an asset.
