3D Stylized Environment Artist
Room 8 Studio is looking for a highly qualified 3D stylized environment artist to create immersive, stylized worlds, including hard surface assets, weapons, and environment elements.
Responsibilities
- Create high-poly and low-poly models of stylized environments, weapons, and hard surface assets based on given concepts.
- Perform high-poly sculpting in ZBrush and low-poly modeling in Max, Maya, or Blender.
- Generate optimal UV maps and texture bake (normal maps, AO, etc.).
- Create stylized textures using Substance Painter and/or hand‑painted techniques.
- Assemble assets into scenes in game engines such as Unreal Engine 4 or Unity.
- Understand and apply modular asset systems, including tiles, trims, and multiple UV channels.
- Collaborate with the team to follow, interpret, and improve concept ideas.
