Become a key player in student wellness as a Readaptation Officer. Focus on promoting psychosocial health through targeted interventions in a hybrid work model.
This role, supervised by the Coordinator of Complementary and Compassionate Services, involves close work with school staff and Regional and Local Student Counsellors to assess and enhance students' socio-emotional development. You'll also engage community resources and parents to ensure comprehensive support systems for students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate student emotional wellness both individually and in groups
• Collaborate with counsellors on interventions for at-risk students
• Initiate preventive measures using trauma-informed approaches
• Keep detailed and confidential records of student interactions
• Create strong ties with local community services for student benefit
Requirements:
• Relevant University Degree in psychoeducation, social work, or similar
