Stella-Jones is seeking a skilled Indirect Tax Analyst in a hybrid work environment. Play a key role in tax compliance, focusing on U.S. and Canadian regulations while enhancing our tax processes.
As an integral member of our North American tax team, you will collaborate with the Manager, Indirect Tax, and support the preparation of tax returns. This newly created role comes as our company expands, providing the chance to engage in audits and modernization of our indirect tax processes. You will operate mainly from home with scheduled days in Montreal.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review U.S. and Canadian tax returns
• Reconcile general ledger accounts for indirect taxes
• Analyze and address tax notices effectively
• Support tax audits and ensure regulatory compliance
• Research tax legislation and implement changes
