EDFT Paris Branch – Short Term Analytics
The Short-Term Analytical Team is an operational team with the following structure:
A first team of 7 short-term power analysts, a deputy manager, and a manager, dedicated to the optimization of the EDF assets. These analysts are working 7/7 in Paris and their core role is centred on the daily optimisation of the EDF production portfolio in France. The analyst on shift must assess the net EDF position for each half hour and forecast the available upward and downward flexibility as well as the production costs and constraints associated with these flexibilities. These flexibilities and constraints must be translated into epex orders for an economically efficient optimisation on the Day Ahead (DA) electricity market to take place.
