Summary

Responsible for daily administration of all Workplace Safety and Insurance Board Claims (WSIB), including the data entry of all preliminary information regarding employee accidents into the Parklane system and responding to inquiries about claims. Represents the Company's interests through written correspondence to WSIB and gathers information regarding objections to claims.

Specific Responsibilities

• Open and distribute the department mail.
• Contact WSIB to obtain claim numbers and decisions.
• Ensure all department filing is updated, including purging closed files.
• Review accident investigations, ensure all necessary information is current, and follow up with the store to obtain necessary information.
