Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Sr Test Engineer.
Job Responsibilities
Determine electric test methods and specify testing machine requirements for the electrical test of sub-assemblies, assemblies and final product.
Plan all tooling such as jigs, fixtures, special tools, and similar items for all the electric testing stations at the plant.
Evaluate existing machinery, fabrication equipment, tooling, etc for safety, capacity, capability, effectiveness, etc.
Develop detailed technical specifications for new equipment and manage capital projects.
Take action on the troubleshooting of electrical test equipment failures and support the root cause analysis of product test failures.
Outline the required workflow and material handling for the activities related to electrical test, including storage areas, work areas, and workplace layout.
