Overview

This is an interview position. FedEx Canada Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) leadership role responsible for the development, implementation and application of Canada’s Safety Strategy, including people policies and programs to prevent injuries and accidents and ensure the safety and well‑being of all Canadian staff and assets across the region. The HSE manager also provides HR oversight as a member of the HR management team and supports cross HR integrated solutions.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related safety or environmental field
• Board Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) certification, or equivalent OR ability to successfully complete within 24 months of hire
• Must be a current member of FEC management or LEAP/EXCEL endorsed
