We are currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our therapy team on a temporary basis working 32 hours per week. This position follows the school calendar working end of August - June.
The Speech Language Pathologist provides speech and language services for children (Kindergarten – Grade 12) in the Division. The SLP ensures early identification of speech and language needs of students, and effectively supports interventions focused on speech and language to promote communication competence for children and educational success. The SLP works directly in the classroom with Teachers, Learning Coaches, and Educational Assistants to complete speech and language screening, provide further assessments and consultation as well as direct therapy, and develop classroom-based interventions with individual or small groups of students.
