Specialist Psychiatrist – Northern Norway

We are looking for a specialist psychiatrist for a permanent position in Northern Norway.

You will join a well-functioning outpatient clinic and work closely with an experienced team. The region is known for its relaxed pace of life, strong professional environments, and supportive colleagues.

Your role

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with psychiatric conditions
• Contribute actively to interdisciplinary collaboration and treatment planning
• Supervise junior doctors and support internal training
• Take part in developing the service and improving clinical practice

Qualifications

• European medical authorization and specialist certification in psychiatry
• Good English skills and motivation to learn Norwegian (language training provided)
• Solid clinical competence and ability to work independently
