The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Specialised Researcher to work at the Medicinal Chemistry Unit of the Knowledge and Technology Transfer and Industrial Projects Department.

The researcher will work on the design, docking analysis and synthesis of molecules with biological activity, in support of the Molecular Medicine strategic programs of ICIQ.

Responsibilities

• Conduct docking simulations on biological targets of interest for ICIQ.
• Perform in‑silico design of molecules.
• Propose pharmacophore hopping and other derivatives to improve ADME properties.
• Synthesize the designed molecules.
• Complete documentation of results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment.
• Write reports and deliver results in group meetings.
