About This Role
Position focused on managing the softgoods department, ensuring high customer service standards, operational efficiency, and compliance with Giant Tiger policies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a high level of customer service for assigned departments (cash, softgoods, hardgoods, grocery).
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations.
- Train and communicate policies and procedures to department associates.
- Handle SKU, pricing, sign printing, labeling, and RF unit operation.
- Complete ordering and replenishment of merchandise.
- Supervise a team within assigned departments, fostering cross‑functional collaboration.
- Execute GT System policies, procedures, and standards.
- Take appropriate action and provide recommendations based on area analysis.
