Responsibilities:
The Skilled Lead Hand is responsible for the efficient operation of the processing lines, ensuring maximum efficiency and yields. In addition, the Skilled Lead Hand must ensure compliance with all company and customer standards and is responsible for following established food safety and quality procedures. Some of the general duties are as follows:
Ensure proper set up of equipment, availability of supplies and meet planned production schedules, yields and customer specifications. Perform required checks on equipment, ingredients, packaging, and processing procedures. Participate in training programs for relevant food safety & HACCP procedures, product quality requirements, equipment & process technology.
