Libraries and Cultural Resources (LCR) at the University of Calgary invites applications for a six‑month Sessional Librarian position with responsibilities at the rank of Assistant Librarian. The anticipated start date for the position is July 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2026. This is an in‑person job in the Health Sciences Library on the Foothills Campus.

Position Responsibilities

• Design and deliver specialized course‑based instruction and workshops to students and faculty in the Bachelor of Health Sciences Program and students and trainees in the Cumming School of Medicine, including online learning and digital tools and assessment of instruction and student learning outcomes.
• Actively engage with faculty members, students, and staff to promote and market library programs, services, and resources.
