Coop is one of Norway’s leading grocery and building materials retailers. We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer who is passionate about building robust, scalable, and modern solutions that impact the everyday lives of millions of customers and members.

The role is based at our Grorud office, with the possibility to work from home part of the week. Starting in 2029 we will relocate to Schweigaards gate 16, just a stone‑throw from Bjørvika.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend solutions in Go that support large volumes of traffic and data
• Build and maintain APIs that expose functionality to order management systems and e‑commerce solutions
• Ensure solid architecture, scalability, and quality through automated testing and code reviews
