About the role

Reporting to the Manager, Regulatory Approvals, the Senior Lead, Operational Regulatory Approvals is responsible for driving regulatory approvals activities for our Elk Valley mines. We are looking for someone to lead and supervise a dynamic team of professionals at the coordinator and lead level, as well as coordinate with our other assets in BC and Alberta. This role is based in Sparwood, but will spend time at our coal mining operations in the area.

In this role you will

• Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies.
• Oversee the preparation and delivery of applications, and regulatory review and engagement processes for between 30-60 non‑major permits each year to support ongoing site operations and permitting‑related compliance items.
