Senior Estimator – Urbacon
Role Objectives
As a senior estimator, you will be responsible for calculating major construction cost estimates, and you will be involved in the planning, development, negotiation, and contract execution of a project.
Responsibilities
- Review of bid documents identifying special requirements and assisting the department in mitigation of risks.
- Review plans and specifications in detail.
- Interpret specific requirements of any bid submission.
- Participate in pre‑bid meetings, develop bid strategies and take ownership of the budget / tender process.
- Take‑offs, schedule/price estimates and prepare preliminary schedules, general requirements for review.
- Prepare budgets, cost proposals and value engineering to suit different project delivery methods.
- Coordinate with subtrades and industry professionals.
