Job Description

AECOM is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Systems Design Engineer to join our Enterprise Capabilities Design Center in Bogotá D.C. The selected candidate will support designing and implementing fire protection systems for diverse and complex projects, including railways, airports, large surface buildings, data centers, and industrial estates.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop fire protection system designs, including sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, smoke control systems, and other fire safety measures, ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations.
• Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, and mechanical engineers to integrate fire protection systems seamlessly into project designs.
• Ensure all designs adhere to NFPA standards, local building codes, and other relevant fire safety regulations.
