About This Opportunity

Collaborate closely with colleagues and organizational leaders throughout CIRO, providing timely and practical legal advice on complex matters as they emerge

Help teams move work forward with clear practical legal guidance

Support CIRO’s oversight relationship with members of the Canadian Securities Administrators and help ensure CIRO meets its applicable obligations

Perform legal review of material contracts and internal corporate policies

Lead or assist in policy initiatives within the GCO’s mandate

Retain and instruct external counsel in corporate/commercial matters

Provide legal advice and support relating to CIRO regulatory and legal obligations

Provide legal advice and support for CIRO’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) and related corporate governance matters
