For a Leading Dry Bulk Shipping Company: Senior Chartering Manager

Responsibilities

• Handle all chartering activity for cargo bookings (prompt / forward / COAs) with a strong focus on Atlantic markets (ATL)
• Develop and manage a strong cargo portfolio, including short trips, BH (Backhaul), and FH (Front haul) opportunities
• Build and lead a new chartering team specializing in ATL trading
• Engage with the market weekly with fresh cargoes to cover
• Monitor and expand FFA (Forward Freight Agreements) activity, either as a hedge or to pursue commercial opportunities
• Represent the company at commercial and industry events

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in dry bulk chartering
• Proven track record in developing and maintaining a cargo book
• Strong exposure to Atlantic market cargo trading
