Overview

Under the direction of the Assistant Secretary-Treasurer or designate, the Senior Buyer performs specialized and complex purchasing and procurement work for the District. This includes purchasing a wide variety of services, materials, supplies, products, and equipment in accordance with applicable laws, District procurement policies and procedures, and requisition specifications. The position is responsible for procurement activities related to construction, renovations, maintenance requests, and other District initiatives, and performs related duties as assigned. The Senior Buyer operates at an expert professional level and exercises independent judgment and sound problem-solving skills.
