**Job Description**

**The Role**
This is a global Senior Buyer role leading the management, negotiating and buyer of ocean container rates.

**What You’ll Do**

+ Sourcing and Contracting Activities that include but not limited to:
+ Sourcing event bid strategy & management
+ Bid analytics
+ Coordination and alignment of RFQ package components including Terms & Conditions, SOR, RFQ documentation
+ Leadership sourcing recommendation / alignment.
+ Management of sourcing documentation related to bid events in adherence to the GM Audit Services
+ Daily supplier interface activities on all commercial items
+ Support commercial budget activities
+ Support logistics supplier management initiatives including “Strategic Supplier Engagement”
+ Nurture relationship with strategic suppliers by acting as a focal point for commercial issue resolution
