  School Bus Driver


 

Position Description

Schedule: Year-round, Monday-Friday with both an AM route and PM extended day drop off; field trips as necessary.

Reporting to the Transportation Supervisor, our bus drivers are non-exempt, full-time employees, typically working from August through May with the potential to extend through the summer months based on summer school needs. AM route times and a late afternoon/early evening, extended day drop off.  The bus driver operates a bus and transports passengers safely and efficiently to their destination.

  Responsibilities and Duties

+ Safely operate the bus, ensuring the safety of passengers, pedestrians, and other road users; includes following traffic laws, maintaining control of the vehicle, and being aware of potential hazards on the road
