Description: Ratios are 1:2 and can go up to 1:3. Charting system is Cerner. Three weekend shifts are required per 4-week schedule – Days are Saturday and Sunday. Self-scheduling is available. Floating may occur to stepdown units. Common diagnoses include respiratory, trauma, neuro, cardiac, renal, and obstetrics. There are 36 private beds and utilization of 24 is common. The cancellation policy allows for up to 2 shifts to be canceled per assignment of less than 13 weeks without penalty, and up to 3 shifts for assignments of 13 weeks or longer.
