Are you a Nurse with demonstrated experience in cardiac intervention and patient care? If so, apply now to join our dedicated team at Royal Columbian Hospital’s Day Cardiac Intervention Unit (DCIU), where we focus on delivering exceptional cardiac health services. This position involves providing direct patient care in an outpatient setting. Care is provided to both outpatients and regional inpatients of varying complexity of illness requiring trans‑catheter cardiac procedures (cardiac catheterization lab and electrophysiology lab), cardiac device implantation, or trans‑esophageal echocardiograms. Care includes patient preparation, recovery, and discharge (and in some cases assisting with the procedure itself) and all associated nursing assessments, interventions, and patient/family education.
