Our client is a well known retailer who is looking for a BUYER.

This position requires retail experience with either buying or selling knowledge.

Compensation is $100K per annum.

You will be purchasing and negotiating as well as customer facing.

Core Responsibilities

• Product Sourcing & Selection: Assist in evaluating market trends, attending trade shows, and reviewing product samples to select the best merchandise for the target demographic.
• Vendor Management: Help build vendor relationships, negotiate prices, terms, and delivery dates. Track supplier KPIs like fill rates and delivery timelines.
• Order Processing: Create, update, and manage purchase orders within inventory and ERP/MRP systems. Ensure all data regarding cost, quantity, and ship dates is accurate.
