Essential Duties & Responsibilities

+ Manages a university residential community including the selection, training and supervision of undergraduate and graduate students assigned to the residence

+ Provides leadership and guidance for business operation processes such as facilities opening and closing procedures, facilities management, and related areas

+ Develops and implements educational and cultural programs, services, and activities in the residential community, with a focus on the principles of community development, student engagement, wellness, diversity, inclusion, and retention

+ Ensures budgeting, personnel matters, and reporting are managed in accordance with university, state, and federal guidelines, regulations, procedures, and policies

+ Oversees the response to, resolution of, and decision-making for matters of significance such as emergency housing, involvement of other offices, parental contact, etc
