Position Summary: As a member of the interprofessional team, the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) within the Float Team provides patient‑centered nursing care across multiple inpatient and clinical areas based on operational needs. The RPN supports the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for assigned patients. Working under the direction of medical practitioners, Registered Nurses (RNs), and other regulated health care professionals, the RPN practices within scope in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards, Hospital policies, and Patient Care Services guidelines. The RPN delivers safe, compassionate, and evidence‑informed care while contributing to patient safety, continuity of care, and collaborative practice.
