Summary of Duties

Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is offering to sponsor RPN’s who are interested in completing an accredited Operating Room (Perioperative) Program. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance and diversify your skills and launch your perioperative nursing career. Candidates selected to participate in this full‑time educational program will be provided with a conditional offer of full‑time employment with the Bayview Campus Operating Room.

Course Starts: Fall 2026

Qualifications/Skills

• Expressed interest in perioperative nursing
• Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current BCLS certificate
• Current mask fit test
• One (1) year of recent post‑graduate clinical nursing experience is strongly recommended
• Ability to demonstrate theoretical/practical knowledge of ORNAC Standards
• Successful completion of the Perioperative quiz
