Role

As a Registered Nurse working within MAHC’s Surgical Services team you will work collaboratively within the Surgical Service department in all areas, Operating Room, Endoscopy, Day Surgery and PACU;

• Assesses and prepares patients preoperatively for surgery and endoscopy procedures.
• Ensures all pre‑op orders are complete.
• Assess and recovers all post‑op and endoscopy patients, works collaboratively with the surgeon and anesthetist to ensure all patients meet the discharge requirements and are safely discharged home.
• Ensures all patients receive post‑operative education and instructions.
