Summary The Nurse Manager (NM) for the Specialty Outpatient Clinics at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center will provide leadership and oversight for clinics located in Gainesville and Lake City, Florida. The NM is the designated first-line supervisory authority, is responsible and accountable for the operation of their assigned units, and provides coverage for other NMs as needed. Responsibilities The Nurse Manager (NM) is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing or supervising direct patient care. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of care based on age specific components. Functions or scope of assigned duties include but are not limited to: Organizes care delivery for the clinic programs in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team in a manner that promotes continuity and accountability for patient care.
