Responsibilities

• To provide direct professional nursing care for patients requiring complex mental health services. Utilizing the principles of the nursing process, the RN will implement autonomous nursing actions to ensure that services provided promote positive patient outcomes. The RN, in partnership with the patients and their families and in collaboration with the clinical team, will coordinate and support the patient’s journey toward maximum independence and wellness.
• Completing a nursing history based on information received from the patient, family and other sources.
