Position Details
DUTIES:
Participates and collaborates with other health care providers in provision of patient care.Effectively uses the Standards of Nursing Practice and the Nursing Process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of the patient.Provides health teaching to patients and family.Working in a fast paced environment, assisting cardiologist with invasive cardiac procedures including angiography, right heart catheterizations and measurements, pacemaker insertions.Post procedure monitoring including removal of femoral sheaths.Working wearing lead apron/vest and thyroid collar (10-15 lbs.) all day.QUALIFICATIONS:
Certificate of competency in Ontario.ACLS certification, current within last two years with experience.Current certification in venipuncture (I.V. certification).ECG Interpretation.EXPERIENCE:
