The Registered Nurse (RN) reporting to the Director of Care is responsible for providing direct resident care, medication administration, and documenting care in compliance with regulatory and Resident Health and Wellness standards and policies and procedures.

What You Will Do

• Provides those components of nursing care to residents whose care needs require the competencies of the RN/RPN (i.e., residents with complex, unpredictable, unstable, changing care needs).
• Carries out assigned restricted activities authorized for the RN/RPN under the Health Professionals Act that have been supported by the policies and procedures of AgeCare.
• Carries out our complex care interventions in situations where ongoing assessment and alterations in care approach are necessary to respond to unpredictable, changing needs of the resident or where interventions are not expected to be part of the regular duties provided by other members of the nursing team.
