Recycling Center Attendant (Part-Time)

General Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine, manual work unloading and moving recyclable materials at the recycling convenience site.
• Position is part-time (3 days a week).
• May use simple hand tools and equipment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must have ability to perform manual work in varying weather conditions, and ability to understand and interpret simple oral and written instructions, and ability to maintain effective working relationships with citizens and coworkers.
• Must be able to provide excellent customer service to our citizens and fellow Team Lenoir members.

Requirements

• This position requires the physical ability to lift 25 lbs. or more, reach, twist, bend, kneel and squat in varying weather conditions.
