Support the recreational needs of seniors at Grand View Manor as a Recreation Programmer based in Berwick, Nova Scotia. Take charge of implementing engaging and tailored activity programs.
This temporary role will last from June to January, reporting to the Manager of Recreation and Volunteer Services. Your main focus will be creating and executing diverse activities, promoting events, and collaborating with the care team to ensure resident wellness. Additionally, you'll document residents' participation and oversee group outings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a vibrant calendar for activities
• Facilitate large and small group events for seniors
• Complete initial assessments and ongoing evaluations
