GL Junior Analyst – Overview

Reports directly to the GL Team Lead, the GL Junior Analyst supports the day‑to‑day general ledger operations, including bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. The role provides hands‑on experience with accounting processes while contributing to team metrics and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and post journal entries from local teams and other business groups.
• Conduct account reconciliation activities and identify discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records and documentation.
• Prepare and update desktop procedures at least twice a year.
• Compile an update capacity file detailing activities performed and time consumed.
• Respond to inquiries from the Team Lead and local entities, focusing on customer experience.
