Position Overview
Quantitative Investments Analyst Co‑op – Canadian Equities – Quantitative Research team, CIBC Investments division. The co‑op will support portfolio managers and economists by refining research models, analyzing macro‑economic factors and developing innovative tools such as the Unified Asset Tracking Interface (UATI).
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance quantitative models for Canadian equity and bond asset classes.
- Conduct macro‑economic research to inform investment strategies.
- Develop and reinforce coding solutions to optimize research workflows and tools.
- Apply project‑management best practices to manage independent tasks and deliver results.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, economists and fellow analysts to share insights and advance projects.
- Assist in building new tools and interfaces to streamline investment operations.
