The Sexual Assault Care Centre/Partner Assault Clinic at the Sault Area Hospital is currently recruiting a Registered Psychotherapist to join their team. The successful candidate will provide services to clients who are victims of sexual assault and sexual abuse.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing trauma therapy to adults, youth, children and their families who have experienced acute and/or historical sexual assault or sexual violence.Conduct trauma-informed psychosocial assessments and provide trauma specific therapy.Engage clients in the co-constructing of therapeutic goals.Provide advanced therapy to assist in resolving issues and processing trauma related to sexual victimization.Maintain accurate client records and statistical reports as required.Respond to requests for reports from collateral services (e.g., Child Welfare agencies, education, and the legal system)”Consult and collaborate with k...
