We are seeking an Emergency Psychiatrist to join the Psychiatric Assessment Unit at the Vancouver General Hospital. As an Emergency Psychiatrist, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment and care to patients presenting with acute mental health crises in our busy emergency department.

Responsibilities

Conduct timely psychiatric assessments and formulate treatment plans for patients in crisis, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including emergency physicians, nurses, social workers, and psychiatric consultants to ensure coordinated care, provide crisis intervention and stabilization services to patients experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms, and participate in teaching and supervision of medical stud...
