The City of Penticton is looking for a permanent full‑time Project Engineer based in Penticton, B.C. Reporting to the Infrastructure Services Manager, the Project Engineer is a professional engineer who works independently and is responsible for varied municipal engineering assignments. Key Responsibilities

Carry out responsible and varied municipal engineering assignments that require general familiarity with a broad field of engineering and knowledge of reciprocal effects of the work upon other fields. Utilize standard procedures and mediation of previous assignments to solve problems. Participate in and lead planning activities to achieve prescribed objectives. Complete independent design, studies, analyses, interpretations and conclusions. Provide sound and authoritative work that is relied upon.
