Dematic is seeking a Strategic Buyer to join our Procurement Supply Chain Solutions team.This person will be responsible for supporting procurement activities and objectives within spares parts environment.The Procurement Specialist / Strategic Buyer will drive the strategy of the sourcing category in North America.The individual is expected to procure direct materials for multiple categories such as: metal fabrication, electronics, motors, belts, plastics and others.This role will require the employee to be in office 3 days or more depending on the business requirements.This is What You Will do in This Role:- Lead cost-reduction initiatives across assigned commodities through competitive sourcing, value engineering, and supplier consolidation.
