Job Description

Lead/supervise a team of buyers focused on ensuring continuous flow of materials and services to support operations management and plant activities, and direct them to achieve KPIs and meet financial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Supervise buyers and other employees to support plant operations.
• Evaluate buyers and employees.
• Address employee concerns and issues with appropriate responses and solutions.
• Audit key aspects of employees' work and generate performance measurement reports.
• Act as the primary communication channel between senior management and employees.
• Define priorities and resources to ensure the proper flow of materials and services to the plants.
• Supervise purchasing procedures and ethical guidelines with buyers.
• Negotiate and coordinate negotiations with buyers as necessary.
